I have had my tongue pierced twice now.  I had to remove my jewellery as I was in the hospital for several days and it closed up.  It was pierced for about 6 months.

Last February I had it re-pierced, this time it felt like did it too far forward and it would not heal right so I had to take it out.

Now I am not sure if I am able to get it done a thrid time and if so how will this time be different. Can they re-pierce through the first scar, does this prolong the healing time?  I really loved having it done and haven't gotten it out of my system yet. What do you think?
