This is an information site!

Over the past few years, our site has grown as we attempt to pass on a perpetually improving understanding of the technical aspects of body piercing. We have always used contextual hyperlinks to expand on explanations, but the original pages themselves had grown to massive size as the information was updated and expanded.

In many cases the actual flow of thought has been obscured by embedded explanations, and subsequent qualifications. This has led to many misunderstandings of what we were trying to say. In addition, those with slow connections found that they were waiting far too long for the pages to display.

Those who were used to our old site will notice that the pages are shorter now. In each case we have asked the question: "What is this page about?". We have then cut the page down to its basic information. Other content, which was to explain items on the page, has now been moved to pages of their own. More detailed information on topics can now be found by following the contextual hyperlinks, and when you return to the original page, the flow of information will be much smoother.

We hope that you find our site easier to navigate and to understand with the changes. The new format makes it easier for us to add, correct and integrate content without disrupting site navigation. It will also make it easier for you to find the information. We look forward to your feedback.
