I had my vertical hood piercing done just over a week ago and its healed just fine.
I just have a question regarding the CBR that was used. Is the bead supposed to move around, I thought this is what held the ring together.
Do you mean that the bead spins on the ring? If you bead spins on the ring, then you should return to the piercer and they should fix this problem.
Yes, the bead holds the ring captive, that is why they are called 'captive bead rings'.
