I got my both of my tragus pierced 5 days ago. It didn't hurt.I have been following the aftercare that my piercer instructed me to do so which he gave me a solution to clean my piercings 2 times a day. 2 days ago, my right tragus started to ache and slightly swollen. My left side is perfectly fine since day one. Is it suppose to be normal? But when I sleep the pain subside and when I wake, the pain comes back on and off. In need of advice.
I forgot to mention as well, when I clean my right one, there are red brown discharge. Is it blood or is it already infected?
The brown discharge indicates that the piercing is still bleeding slightly, which, with the swelling, is evidence of infection.
If you read this forum, you may have guessed that cleaning solutions neither do nor are. If you have rings, it is possible to use the jewelry as a cleaning tool. Use a soap and water lather to clear pus and debris from the piercing, and otherwise leave it alone and let it heal. If the problems persist, see your doctor.
I have already stopped using the cleaning solution, and did what you asked me to do, and is all going well. Thank you very much :)
