i had my nose pierced about 4 weeks ago, and it developed one of these "bumps" about 3 weeks ago.
i got it pierced with a HUGE ring, like its pretty big in comparison to my face. i obviously caused it some trauma because this bump wont go away.
i tried sea salt, and aspirin paste, and then i came to this website and im taking your advice and leaving it alone. well it started to get better, and then it just got worse all of a sudden.
i went back to my piercer and PLEASE change it to a stud for me, i keep hitting it and its just causing it more trauma. they are such retards and told me to do the sea salt and the aspirin.
I HAVE ALREADY DONE THAT. they then said wait a few weeks. they obviously have no idea what they are talking about. so here i am, stuck.
should i change it myself? or leave it in, and leave it alone? im so confused, i wish there was a better piercing place where i live.
How is your piercing doing now? Have you changed the jewellery? Do you still have a bump?

i took it out!
the bump which was huge, is now completely gone.
i used polysporin to make it go away.
Sorry that you felt the need to remove the jewellery.
