Hiya,

I had my nipples pierced (with bars) about 2 1 2 months ago now and everything was fine but a few weeks ago my bf erm got a bit rough with them  *blushes*!
They were sore and had puss coming out of them for a while but now they aren't sore and only have a tiny bit of puss but the skin under the balls on both piercing have started too peel, should I be worried or will they sort themselves out?
I've been using salt water soaks on them every few days as I was told cleaning too often can also cause problems and on the days I don't use salt i do hot water soaks. Is this the right thing to do?

You are overcleaning the piercing and the salt water is drying out the delicate breast tissue.  PLEASE STOP DOING ANYTHING TO YOUR PIERCING.

When you shower just soap around the piercing and then let warm water run over them for a few minutes to remove any bacteria.  Afterwards, take a Q-tip and remove the crusties without moving the jewellery too much.  If they look dry, moisturize.  Use a Q-tip to apply a water based mositurizer (we use St Ives).

Other than that, just leave them alone.
