Should I change my nose stud?

I had my nose pierced last Tuesday. The girl put in a straight stud, which has just a slightly larger end on it. Twice it has come out and I noticed today that it doesn't seem to be going all the way through my nose. I can feel it inside, it is just barely not making it through. Obviously this thing is to small for me. Should I go and have a longer one put in, or perhaps a screw?  I know it is bad to change it to early, I just thought maybe in this case it would be a good idea. Thanks for any help!

Go get a nose screw. That way it'll allow for the swelling and healing and also not fall out as easily.

The one you have in is called a nose bone and they are very bad for any piercing.

I went to my piercer and she changed out my bone for a screw. It is so much better. I am not constantly worried about it falling out. Thanks for the advice!

Glad that your problem was easily corrected by changing the jewellery to a proper nostril screw.

Please do not use any products other than what you use on your face to wash with.  Leaving this piercing alone is the best for it.
