i was soo sad when I got the bump and wanted to remove it but after a while it went away and im soo happy now

just treat it good and DO NOT TOUCH IT

Like the pp, I would say go ahead and get it. I had the dreaded bump too, but it's gone away after a bit of persistence. I'm not sure what causes them, but they sure are unsightly! Anyhow, I love my piercing! Don't let the bump scare you off!

the bump comes up for differnt reasons

basic anything irritating it

i mean i was bump free for the 1st 5 months then i got a flu and was bump ridden for a months  i think blowing my nose bugged it but ya


touching
things getting in it
harsh cleaning methods
blowing ur nose too much :P


lots of things its norm just a lil scar tissue that acts up cuz u did something that bothered it once u remove what bugs it it gose away

i felt soooo horible when i got my bump

and it stayed for a month more even .... but once its gose ur just as happy as b4 i mean i love my nose ring soooooooo much

The Bump can come from heaps of things

- the trauma to the nose
- bumping
- rubbing
- irritation
- allergic reactions
- poor positoned jewellery
- angle of piercing...

ALOT of people experience the bump to some extent, even if it's just a little one. So it's not unusual. I say if u want the piercing bad enough you will go through whatever to have keep it.

I was close to taking mine out 2 or 3 times but now the bump is almost gone and mine is just over 6months old. Its just patience.

As you can see by the responses, everyone will react to a piercing differently.  If you want it, you have to weigh the odds and make your decision.

It it like a pimple for many and other times its red and inflamed.  Sorry but we do not have any pictures to show you.
