I just had a horizontal hood piercing done a week ago and I was told by my piercer that I had to wait 2 months before having sex because the piercing could tear. I am healing really well, just a bit sore - She gave me these qtips with a solution in them to use once a day, although I have been using them at least 3x a day and washing with an antibacterial soap. Also, how long do I have to wait to have my partner perform oral sex on me? Again, my piercer said 2 months. But, I am questioning this since reading all of these posts.
Please stop doing all the aftercare. This area is extremely labile and heals quickly.
No you do not have to wait that long before returning to sex. As with any piericng, it will be tender for a little bit but then you will be able to continue as you did before the piercing.
