The first time i had my navel pierced i did it myself, which i might add is NOT a good idea!. i took it out when it got out of contol and it left a small firm bump.

I decided to get it redone about a year later professionally they pierced behind it and it looked great for the first while. after i changed the ring to a barbell i was dissapointed to see that it was VERY crooked so i took it out again.

Now i know that repiercing is usually done behind the original piercing but i would like to get it done again and i am worried that there is to much to pierce now.  Am i out of luck for a belly ring now? The lump is still there. also how long should i wait?

Thank you SO much!

If the bump has been there for a year, then it is no longer a fluid filled bump but a keloid.  We recommend you seek medical attention and get it removed.

After it has healed, then you can get it repierced.  We do not understand what you mean by 'too much to pierce now'.  If you are writing about the lump, it will be gone first and then get repierced.

You can have a navel piercing, but you have to get the other issue looked at first.

Take care
