repiercing tongue

I had my tongue pierced back in September and I had it for about 2 months.

My tongue had swelled up big time because I gagged the day I got it. The swelling had gone down quite a bit and I wasn't feeling any pain from it after 3-4 weeks, but it still seemed swollen. I ended up taking it out.

I'm considering getting it repierced, but I'm really scared for the pain because I heard it hurts more the second time. I can't stand pain very well, like at all. I HATE pain.

And, about the position of the piercing. if they did it farther back would it hurt more? and would I be able to conceal it more than usual??

Thanks.

If they put it back in the same spot, you may have some additional discomfort but the tongue is the least painful of them all because we pierce inbetween the 2 large muscle bundles where there are no real pain sensors.

Placement will depend on your tongue and we really cannot comment on how much you will hurt either.

We would strongly recommend that you use our aftercare if you do get it repierced.

Good luck
