I just wanted to say, this forum is wonderful and i did look through the entire nipple aftercare section. i actually left it alone and just let warm water run over it but it doesn't seem to be helping and it hasn't popped yet (2weeks time).

I was pierced 5 months ago, used provon for a few weeks, slowly stopped using it.  i rotated the ring to clean, used Q-tip to get rid of the crusties, all seemed well. no more rotating after that.

before this bubble, i had one on the other opening on the same nipple which i had popped (now i know i shouldn't have) but it drained and healed fine.

(yes i tried popping this one too, thinking it would drain and be ok) BUT it hasn't. this bubble hasn't gone away and it's been almost 2 months (haven't done anything to it). there is whitish substance in the middle... so tempting to pop.

do you think it's getting infected deeper because it hasn't drained? i'm worried. don't know what to do anymore.

a month ago i went to see my piercer again, he told me to use H20cean... which i did... nothing happened.

also a week from now i'm going to see my guy... i shouldn't let him touch it right?

side note: had my wisdom teeth pulled out a little over a week ago and was on antibiotics which seemed to help it but i ran out and it's back to where it's started.

We are not expecting the bump to pop, we are expect is to read that the bump is getting smaller and as it does, it will eventually disappear completely.

The fact that the anti-biotics did seem to help you is great but you did not really tell us what happened.  Did the bump start to shrink or look less visible to you?  How many days did you take the anti-biotics?  The more information you can give us the better we can assist you.

If during the anti-biotics you saw the bump shrink, how long since you had done anything at all to the piercing?  When did you use the H2Ocean product?  And how many times did you use it and for how long?

Since we cannot see the piercing, we need your input.  We wait for your response.

thank you for responding :)

i went to the doctors yesterday (didn't get to see your response until today)

it's not really a bubble anymore, kinda fleshy. my doctor popped it, whitish stuff came out. said it was like a pimple and prescribed me an antibiotic ointment: Mupirocin USP2% *_* still looks the same, but without the white stuff in the middle. just looking fleshy and red, and the skin looks tight around the popped opening.

i used the H20spray for about 2 weeks, around the beginning of august. wasn't long enough?

i was on the antibiotics for my wisdom teeth for 5 days (wished i had more!) cause the bubble was going down and flattening out. so yea it looks like it was shrinking and i was all happy. but after it ran out it just grew back, i didn't do anything except hot soaks (no salt, just hot boiled water).

worst thing was today i woke up and didn't really noticed but i had another bubble (it's off center of the nipple... don't know where that came from and how?!) and it somehow popped and some tissue came out of it? kinda looks like when you bite your tounge and a lil bud or two hangs off, not really coming off but still attached and still has sensation... yea. so i showered and did a light sea salk soak. then i just applied some of that antibiotic ointment. don't know what else i could do. so two popped bubbles (1 a day oldish and the other 2 months) on the same nipple piercing.

would take a picture to show you. don't think forum let's you attach them though?

If you can send us pictures, please do so.  Use our kingston@blackstar.on.ca address.

We cannot figure out what is going on with your piercing.  The bumps develop because of problems generally from overcleaning and irritating them.  Using harsh products for too long and moving the jewellery too much.  By popping the bump, you just made matters more difficult because this caused the body to respond accordingly and you now have more of them.  Its like popping a pimple on your face.  It may go away for a bit but then you develop more of them.

If the doctor put you on antibiotics, then you should have seen some improvement.  With regards to the time you use antibiotics for your teeth, you were doing what to your piercings?  This could be important as the reason the bumps shrunk is generally because you leave them alone and let the body heal itself.

So, please try to leave the piercing alone.  We would suggest that you use a warm water compress for a few minutes and then take a Q-tip and remove any crusties.

What type of bra do you wear?  What type of jewellery is in place right now?
