My bump is really small now, but still a bit red. Any advice? What have you been doing? Thanks in advice!
I have been doing NOTHING.
I kept it dry at all times and never cleaned it lol
I just used pointed corner of some toilet paper that was slightly wet and I rubbed the stud to remove crusties but I never ever rubbed or cleaned the bump

my bump has been gone since Id guess feb15 and it never came back!
Everyone, you have to stop with all the worry and stress. You need to leave the bump alone and stop reading about others and how long they have had their bumps. it will only scare you and make you try a bunch of products on the bump making things worse.
just leave it alone and dnt touch it

Hey, pink, how long did you have your bump before it finally went away?? I know you just said don't worry about how long others have had theirs, but I can't help it!!
This morning I woke up and my bump was worse after acting like it was getting better. I have been going to the extreme leave it alone and I got so frustrated and exasperated that I tried to take my stud out....but I couldnt. After several minutes of tugging and pulling and finally giving up, I got really scared and expected my bump to swell up bigger than my head, but it didn't. I got red for awhile, then calmed down and now it's not much worse than it was before. I don't get it!!!!
I blow my nose as gently as I can, and my bump reacts, then I totally abuse it and am more rough with it then I ever have been, and it barely seems to notice!!!
I just want this thing GONE I don't care what it takes!! I 'd rather not lose my piercing, but I keep taking one step forward and 5 steps back. I feel like maybe it would be better if I take it out and let it heal and maybe try to repierce it, but after this ordeal, I will be very apprehensive.
Please someone please tell me that I can get rid of this. I feel like I can't take it out and it's not getting better leaving it in....I feel stuck!! I know there are bigger probelms in the world, but how do you live your life with a huge wart thing on your nose??
I had mine for a month maybe slightly past that. It was huge then small then I was sick and it was HUGEEEE.
It had this thing where it would get a flake type thing on it and I was a picker and would remove the flake,, well that was stupid and it got worse,, if it flakes leave the flake on no matter how much it looks like its going to fall off
uhm. you need to just try to ignore it.. i know how horrable it feels having it,, i felt sick at times thinking it would be permanent but really it WILL go away, you cant put makeup on it, or a bunch of soap salt tea tree etc just let it heal like the mods are saying leave it alone!! its soo hard to do i know! but if you really want it to go away you will just have to deal with it and try your best
i fel ugly too, but now I a very happy that I got it done and it looks great.
sounds icky but clean your nose with a q-tip instead of blowing, that can help.. i did that,, i was soo stuffy and nasty for a week hah,, but I think it helped stop the irritation
dont rotate the jewel or push at it
what i did was not clean the bump at all.
i did not wet it or touch it or put anything on it -
all i did was use a pointed toilet paper corner and rub the crust off the jewel and never ever touched the bump

It may be difficult to do but leaving it alone is the best advice we can give.
The body will take care of itself and heal without any interference from us. When we get involved is generally when we start having problems.
