I really want to get my nape pierced, and I'm up for whatever maintenenance it requires, but I don't know if I would make a good a candidate. I don't weigh very much & have very little "meat" on the back of my neck (there's not much to grab even when I lean my head back). Would anyone have an idea how this would affect a likelihood of rejection? Thanks so much.
If you do not have a lot of flesh in the back of your neck, then your chances of migration increase.
Its best to go to a piercer and discuss this in person where they can see and grab the tissue to know for certain.
Or you could also try micro dermals on your nape. I've had mine for many years without issue. But once again, talk to your piercer about what the possibilities are.
