My friend wants to get snakebites. She also has her monroe, and her tongue.
However, she will also probably be getting braces in the near future.
Would she have to take the piercings out? Will the braces effect the piercings, or vice versa?
That will depend on the type of braces and how they are inserted. The dentist will probably want all piercings out of the way during the time the braces are in place only because he she believes that they will cause damage.
The tongue piercing barbell should be fitted so that there is little movement and that one will not get in the way of the braces. The monroe will probably rub in some form or another around the braces and either the jewellery or the brace near the jewellery could be damaged and cause irritation to her tissues.
If she is getting braces in the next year, then she should not bother with the snake bites until after the braces are off. If she will have the piercings for over a year, the piercings will be established and she will be able to remove the jewellery and insert plastic ones during the time she will have the braces on.
The dentist may insist or he she will not do the work, you have to consider everything before you spend the money.
