i've really wanted to get my navel pierced for awhile now; and i am concerned that i will get a strong reaction.
I have a severe nickel allergy, i can't even wear belts with buckles that have nickel in them because i get a rash on my stomach. Is there jewelry available that i would be able to use?
I just don't want to get a piercing if my skin is going to have a problem and i have to take it out!
At our shop, we have many clients in the same situation and none of them have reacted to our 316L implant grade surgical stainless steel.
We do not know what other shops use and therefore all we can suggest is that you get it pierced with a Bioflex product which is not made of metal at all, its a type of plastic.
When you do get the piercing, please follow our aftercare so that you can have a healthy piercing.

is it possible to get a navel piercing with a barbell at blackstar? also you mentioned bioflex, is it used for the original piercing or after the piercing has healed?

We do if the client insists but its more expensive as you have to purchase one of our simple pieces which have just 2 balls with no gemstones. The same material is used for our rings so we will again strongly recommend getting it done with a ring and then in 6 weeks, you can insert a barbell.

I got my navel pierced yesterday with a ring and it looks amazing!
now that i have a ring, i can imagine how hard it would be to try and clean a new barbell piercing!
