New captive ball earrings

So I bought some new earrings, and they are the captive metal ball style.
I got the small meta balls out with much difficulty and now it feels impossible to get the balls back in.
I've tried everything and now I have damaged the metal ball by scratching the metal on it. I don't know how to get it back in and its becoming frustrating for me. Should I have a professional do it? Or is there some trick I'm missing here? :(

Removing Earring

Hi,
I recently realized that I don't know how to take my earring out. It's a ring with a bead connecting it and I can't get the bead out. Does any one know how this is done?

Please write back as I really need to get it out temporarily.
