Hey guys sorry I haven't responded as quickly before. But my navel is doing just fine thanks to all your help.
Except I have another question, in your aftercare - you told me to use St. Ives lotion to help the dryness of the piercing. But what kind? I dont exactly know what you mean by water based moisturizer, since all of them have water for moisture (in the back label of the lotion).
So I bought St. Ives "ALOE & CHAMOMILE - advanced body moisturizer" which naturally soothes, and is extra relief to help soothe and comfort dry skin.
Is that what I was supposed to buy? or not? I also got "Vitamin E - Advanced Therapy Lotion" for dry skin. I don't know which one I should have bought. So please get back to me asap. Also, I only use a q-tip to apply the lotion right? only use it around the hole?
My digital camera isn't that great (its old) but you can see the scar on top of the top hole. There was a scab but as soon it was cleaned it started to pick off by itself. So now theres just a scar but its really dry.
Please tell me what I should do. Thanks.
Thanks for the picture and we can see what you are talking about.
The reason why we recommend a water based moisturizer is the oil based ones (and there are some out there, just not too many anymore) would clog the piercing and you would have more problems. Either of the two lotions that you have is just fine; both products will do the job.
You are correct with the method of applying the moisturizer on the area. The scar is from the damage caused to it. As you leave it alone and use the moisturizer, it will start to subside. We also recommend getting a barbell to help reduce any leverage the ring may cause.
The bump will start to shrink and please try and leave it alone other than doing the moisturizer. Do not clean the piercing in the shower, just let the water run over it.

Oh thanks so much for the help. Well its been 2 weeks since I have my navel pierced, so what should I do? Should I change it to a barbell already? or is that too soon? I really don't want it to migrate again.
Also, my ring as you saw, or if you can see, is tilted to one side.
Its been on the right for a while and when i try to turn it to the middle, it hurts. It just looks scary that its turned to the right.
Should i leave it alone?
In case you are still cleaning the piercing, please STOP. Do not turn the ring or move it either. The more you bother it, the greater chance you have of irritating it. Since you had a piercing that migrated, it should be pierced behind the scar tissue and this will reduce the risk of that happening again.
The ring will lay where it is most comfortable, and it could also be because of the way it was pierced, we could not tell from your pictures.
Get the barbell into the piercing at about 6 weeks, and everything should be alright. Just to make sure you understand, PLEASE LEAVE THE PIERCING ALONE except for putting on moisturizer and only when you need it do you put it on.

There are some crusties on the top and bottom, should i scrape it off or just leave it alone?
As we wrote above, just let the warm water run over the piercing in the shower. This will soften up the crusties and then take a Q-tip and remove them. Other than doing this in the morning, please leave it alone.
After that, you can use the moisturizer if needed.
Good luck
