I've posted here before about my left lip problem with the small white bump.
It's completely healed now (1 year and some months). However now my middle lip piercing has got one, and recently just swelled.
I got it done on september second, and I stopped using all my mouthwash and cleaning it and it was fine. Now the white bump is back, and it's quite swollen.
Should I change the post length? It doesn't look like it has enough room, so i'm just icing it regularly.

The swelling is currently going down, but it seems like the white lump is going around the plate of the piercing posttt

Do you have ring or a barbell (labret) where the problem is?  If so, this could be part of the reason for the problems.  You are probably playing with it and this is one reason for the swelling.  You stated that you finished your aftercare but you did not say what it was.  You stated mouthwash but did you wash the piercing with a product, if so, what is it and how long did you use it?

The white bump is seen at our shop with those who play with their piercings with their tongue as it pushes on the jewellery causing stress on the tissues which translate to the body needing to deal with the irritation by producing white blood cells and they are located at the site to 'fix' the problem.  Because you have jewellery in place, the cells cannot do anything so they sit there waiting.  So please try to leave the piercing alone; and icing it is not the way to go.  We recommend warm water compresses 2 times a day for about 10 minutes.  You want to relax the tissues, not create more irritation.

Try that for a week and write back with your progress.
