Well i got my lip piercing about 2 days ago and I seriously didn't understand the piercer much. Well the problem is that I got a paper from the piercer and it gives me some care tips, etc. but I cannot seem to understand much.
He gave me some sea salt soak that I've been using these days. How long should I keep doing this process of sea salt? Also he told me to mix 4oz warm-hot water with 1 4 spoon of that salt and then dip it with some tissue and hold it in the piercing area for about 5-10 min. Well thats what I've been doing.
I didnt buy any listerine because i dont know how to use it or if it will be good for my lip. What I understood from the piercer is that I should clean my piercing for about 1-2 months, but I dont know if with the sea salt soak only. I'm a bit confused.
If someone can help me because i dont have a clue on how long is the cleaning process i have to do, if i have to use listerine, and how to use sea salt.
Sorry another thing, my lip looks dry and its kind of peeling, is this normal? should i do something about it?

PLEASE DO NOT USE THE AFTERCARE YOU RECEIVED FROM YOUR PIERCER. We removed it because it was just nonsense and had unnecessary statements.
We have a section on this forum called BLACKSTAR AFTERCARE. Please go to this section and look for lip and please follow our aftercare. It is clear, simple to use and there is no confusion.
Salt water dries out the tissues and this is why your lip is dry and peelling. Again, follow our aftercare and many of your problems will ease.
