Just a quick question for those of you who have used tea tree oil to successfully get rid of your bump...did you still do your saline rinses compresses a couple of times a day while using the tea tree or did you just use the tea tree alone? Like an idiot I just tried to pop my bump and all it did was bleed and swell up a bit, so I'm going to leave well enough alone and try something else to get rid of it instead. I've only had my piercing for a month and the bump just showed up a week ago...Ugh!! I'm really hoping that the tea tree oil will work!!
On this forum, we do not recommend using Tea Tree Oil or salt water solution. These products are harsh and do more damage than any good.
If you want your bump to go away, please just leave it alone and let the body heal itself. We recommend warm water compress to calm down the tissues and hydrate the skin. Otherwise, the body will do the rest.
If you read some of the threads, there are explanations as to the reason for the bumps and understanding how the body works is important for getting rid of the bumps.
