I just got my nose pierced 6 13 & it is 6 16 now. So three days ago.
She put in an L-shaped stud. Told me to clean it only twice a day using warm water and a Q-tip. That's what I've ben doing. I really don't have any idea why it could be sinking intomy nose.
Is there anything I can do to fix the sinking without having to take my nose ring out?
that would happen to me when i first pierced my nose. I guess its because the hot water makes the skin soft or something and it sinks in.
Also, the stud may have made the hole bigger causing it to sink in.
If you wait a few more weeks i would suggest changing the stud but not just yet. Well, since im no pro i suggest that you wait for the mod to tell you what to do...

It's fixed now ;] I really don't know what fixed it because I didn't do anything to it.
Peak swelling for any piercing is on day 3 and then the tissues start to reduce. This is what you experienced.
