Industrial Piercing Help

I got an industrial piercing in my ear about two months ago.  It still gets crusty, but I understand this is normal.  The ear does not hurt, but feels moderately swollen around the holes.  There is a slightly larger bump near the holes that feels harder than a normal swelling.  There is not much play in my barbell, as it is pretty much a perfect fit.  Is this normal? After two months, what kind of aftercare should I do?  I am cleaning it about once or twice a day now.  I switch off between using Satin soap and an occasional sea salt soak if it feels irritated.  Is this fine? It actually seems as if the swelling goes down and it gets better when I clean it less though.

We have several industrial threads here and they go into problems others have gone through when using salt water and overcleaning which is what you are doing to your piercing.

Please stop doing everything to your piercing, you no longer need to clean it.  When you shower, you just let the water run over the piercing and then take Q-tips to dry it off.

Good luck
