i got my piercing about 2 years ago. everything went perfect it healed nicely and everything but i notice its like...not my actual nipple but behind it so when i take the jewelry out its kinda...raised?
i do not know if thats good your for it but it does not look like the other nipple. im hoping to be a model and actor so if i do take it out with i have like some grossly mangled nipple and a good one? or will it eventually totally heal up?
We also pierce behind the nipple in the areola area. Yes, the nipple becomes enlarged that because its pierced. This is normal!
If you remove the jewellery, you may see a reduction in the size of the nipple, but we cannot confirm as each person is different and will behave differently to the jewellery removal.
Since your piercing is over a year, your piercing is now established and should remain there but if you no longer have jewellery in place, the piercing will shrink so you will not see a hole just a little brown spot.
