Ok had my piercing for about a week now and i been fallowing your insrtuctions to a "T" till latly, I began to see that my lower hole was becomeing red and hurting where as the top is fine so i layed off the cleaning for a day or so and then began the cleaning again and recently now when i clean it i'm noticing an almost mucis like white goo coming out of my piercing *so wrong* dose that mean its infected and if so what can i do to clear it up...mind you i cleaned it properly and with the soft soap you suggested and i want to make sure it stays clean and gross free so please help
The white discharge is not an infection, if it was green and extremely hot to touch then you would have to see a doctor.
If its painful, then we need to find out whatelse you are doing to the piercing. Do you have a ring or barbell? If you are following our aftercare, then you should have stopped cleaning it after 2 weeks.
