I just realized my piercing is a 16 gauge

I was trying to switch out the original barbell but nothing would fit in my piercing and then I realized the width differences between the two barbells. The one in me was much thinner, it has to be a 16 gauge. Of course this irritated it more so I stuck my 16 g back in after trying to stick a 14 g in.
Is there any hope of stretching this piercing out to a 14 gauge. It's bad enough that this piercing gets good and bad days but now I can't even put a nice ring in because it seems that everything sold are for 14 gauge piercings.
Thank you,
Manthyg

Go to your piercer (or another if you are not satisfied with the first one) and have them upgauge you to 14g.

Attempting to do this yourself is painful and difficult.

If you feel comfortable upgauging yourself, we cannot stop you.  We just advise you to get it done professionally so you do not injure yourself.

Everyone is different and how you will fair trying this on your own may be disasterous because you may lose your piercing completely.
