I have read many things and heard many things on how people clean their nose piercings. Some do use acohol while others use sea salt. With my ear piercings I just used acohol and they came out perfect but I know the nose is a whole differnt story. Also Tree Tea oil? where can that be found aanywhere pretty much? Thanks so please post your routine for cleaning thanks!

Don't clean it with anything, and especially don't use salt water or tea tree oil.  You'll get a bump for sure!!

I have had a new nose piercing for 3 weeks now (had to let my other one close because of problems from using soap and salt water) and I've done nothing except rinse with warm water in the shower and gently remove any crusties or discharge with a q-tip.
So far no problems and I just got over a nasty cold and my piercing didn't even seemed bothered.  My other piercing would have freaked out since it was already irritated from all the stuff I was putting on it!!

Just rinse with water and LEAVE IT ALONE and let your body heal your piercing.

^^ on the money. Just run it under warm water or use cottonballs and do warm water soaks. Pat it dry with a clean tissue if you need to and if there are any crusties use a damp q-tip to nudge them away. Don't force them though.

Good luck

To brezzamagoo and christiH27

Thanks for your support and good advice.

We have been doing this for a long time and we have found that doing too much to any piercing will only irritate the tissues trying to heal.  Its the body that does all of the healing, everything that we do does irritate the tissues.
