I just got a new job and i need to take my piercing out i was wondering if there is something i could put in its place so the hole doesnt close up....i have a small bump will that affect the bump as well?
i dont want it to get big and gross...

go to your piercer and try and get a glass or quartz retainer. You can leave this is for the rest of the healing period otherwise it will iriitate your piercing too much.
You can also get things called bioplast which can be used as retainers as well but it's not ideal to keep switching between them all until its fully healed,
Some of the bioflex products have gemstones and thes will be noticable. Try to find them without a head piece and flat.
Glass or quartz are straight and can break or fall out. We have not seen many of these as we believe that they would be more expensive because of the material used.
Try to do as little damage to the piercing so that the bump will not enlarge.
