Its happening because you have veins around the eyebrow area and when it gets pierced, it can leave a bruise.  It will fade as time goes on.  Your piercer should have warned you that you may experience the 'black eye' after you get the eyebrow done.

It is not infected.  Please do not worry about it.

You did not tell us what your aftercare is.  What products are you using and how often?

Keep in touch

Please read some of the other topics where we have given information about the damage that salt water can cause and the problems that have been experienced by others.

We do not know what type of soap you are talking about without a name its had to give assistance.  But we recommend using soap and water, a mild antibiotic soap like 'Softsoap'.  We recommend using Neosporin for the 3 days to create a barrier and lubricant for the fresh piercing.

Please stop the salt water and by the end of the second week of your aftercare, reduce the cleaning altogether down to regular hygiene (as if the piercing was not there).

Salt water is harsh and will irritate a piercing, it will also dry it out.  You may be noticing some dry areas at the edge of the piercing.  What you need is to moisturize it not dry it further which is what salt water does.

Hope we have helped.
