I had my eyebrow pierced 6 weeks ago and am now planning on putting the retainer in while I search for a job ... but theres one problem ... I can't seem to get the ball unscrewed from my barbell.
I was just wondering if maybe you had any tips on maybe loosening the ball.

Yes, we can give you some assistance. We have had many clients come with the same problem.
We suggest using either latex or vinyl gloves on both hands. The bottom ball is held tight and the other hand turns the top ball left. One of the balls will become lose. (If you have rubber gloves, like the ones to do dishes, they will work as well.)
Be careful when inserting a new piece of jewellery, please make sure that it is clean and that you put some lubricant so that it slides in easily. The lubricant can be vaseline or antibiotic ointment (polysporin or neosporin). Just make sure the wipe off the excess.
