help! iv had my nose screw in almost since i had my nose pierced, my original jewellery fell out after a month and i couldn't get it back in as it was like a labret bar, so i had to change it to a nose screw (very painful!) as it was the only type of nose jewellery i had available at the time and didn't have chance to go back to have the piercer do it for me as i had to go to work. now though, i want to change the jewellery as after a month and a half i am kinda bored of the little gem in my nose, it's a little boring for my liking!
How do i take it out?! i had enough trouble putting the damn thing in and now i cant get it out!
i have had the cartillage done 2 weeks ago on my left side so now im sleeping on the right side which is the side of my nose piercing which makes my nose quite sore 1st thing in the morning as the screw inside is pressing against my nose.
I need to take this out as soon as cos my nose is starting to feel quite tender, would lavender oil help with this in the short term if i need to leave it in for a little longer? would this be suitable for my helix piercing as well?
Thank you for any feedback you can give me, it is much appreciated!
The nostril screw can be removed by pulling down on the head piece (towards your mouth). When you reach the end of the straight part, you will need to insert your finger inside your nose and push the curved part while using the other hand to keep rotating the curved part out of the nose.
It is going to be uncomfortable because your tissues are still tender. If possible, go see a piercing professional to have it removed.
Good luck
