I got one nipple piercied 5 days ago, the piercer had trouble getting my nipple hard and pierced it kind of a little behind my nipple. Then i had the other one done two days after and that one was done perfect.

I'm taking good care of both but the first one just seems more sore and more crustie. Should I Worry?

At our shop, we do not need to have the nipple hard because we pierce behind the nipple in the areola area.  The clamp generally makes the nipple hard because it squeezes it and is quite cold.

Are you happy with the piercings?  Do you like the placements?  What is your aftercare?  What products are you using and how often?

If you are happy with your piercings, then you should not worry.  Sore and crusty have to do with aftercare not how it was pierced.

Please write back.

It's my eighth day with the first piercing and the sixth day with the second so i'm down to cleaning with Dial soap once a day.

I put neosporin on them once in a while but not really anymore. They just have the basic crusting i think, because when i clean them in the shower it comes right off and all is well.

What do you think?

You did not tell us if the younger one is still more tender than the other as you first wrote.

You should not be using neosporin at all as this is only effective in the first 2-3 days to have a barrier while the granulation tissue is forming.  By day 3, the body has started this layering and therefore the neosporin is not going to do anything but clog the tissues and this will result in other problems.

Crusties are normal for the first couple of weeks and even into the first 6 weeks.  You should stop cleaning them after 2 weeks.  After that, all you have to do in the shower is just soap around the area and the water run over the piercings and that will remove any dirt and crusties.  Afterwards, take a Q-tip and remove the crusties if they did not fall off in the shower.  Other than that, just leave them alone.
