The aftercare that you are following is wrong and to start to use the yellow listerine is not right either.

From what you wrote, you were using the wrong mouth wash and doing it too many times a day.  If your nutrition is not healthy, then the swelling will take longer to dissipate.

From the colour you describe, you may have an infection.  The crater could be the result of the infection.  Its difficult to asertain because we cannot see it.

Our strong advice is to seek medical attention from you doctor.  If you are unable to see one, then we recommend gettin Amosan which is a product to help eliminate the thrush in your mouth.  Follow the directions on the package and it should clear up the infection.

At this point, you should not be following any aftercare as its been over 3 weeks since the piercing.  The only issue right now is do you have an infection and what to do to get rid of it.

Try and not play with it too much because the numbness and the biting at the tip is caused by your playing with the piercing.  So please stop and let it heal.

Keep in touch.
