Hi newby over here! =P
I live in the UK and my mum had her nose pierced with a gun, but it got infected so she took it out. I am allowed to get mine done in the school holidays, with the gun. but i have heard that the gun is really bad? is it likely to get infected with the gun and is it still ok to have it done with it? also when you get it done with the gun, they put a straight stud in, not one of the bent ones, will it be ok? I want to find the answers BEFORE having it done, not afterwards.
Thanks for the help

hey hows it going
i strongly advise you not to do it with the gun
there are lots of things wrong with the gun
the gun pretty much forces your stud in
the needle may make your eyes watery and it might hurt a tad but the chances of infection are way slimmer
also sometimes the gun can wreck your nose, im not sure exactly what it does but one of my mums friends got it done with a gun and now she cant breathe from that nostril.
i hope this helped in some way.
good luck and let me know what you decide to do

Hey,
Thanks for the advice, I'm begging my mum to let me have it done with the needle! =P

The gun is made for the ear lobe, it cannot really go into the nose properly and your piercing will be too close to the edge of your nostril and look unattractive... tell that to your mother.
If she is worried about the health issues, then she should check out the shop before you get it done to make sure that they are clean and that the needles are used only once. She can ask to see the set up and the autoclave; if not, then she knows not to give them your business.
