I recently had my septum pierced at Blackstar [about 2 weeks ago] and was wondering what the guage they use for it is? If it helps, I had them put in a retainer.
Also, when am I able to change the jewelry for it? After 2 months?

he standard gauge for the septum is 14g.
It is probably a good idea to wait a month or two before trying to change the jewelry yourself. Let the piercing heal well before you risk injury with a jewelry change. If you want it changed before that, have it done by someone with experience.
