I got my eyebrow pierced last June. and the skin between the the ring seems to get smaller.

Does that mean it's growing out?

Anyway to stop it or will it need to be taken out?

How long again til it can be re-pierced?

Thank You

Yes, it is probable that the piercing is migrating.  It will depend on whether or not the tissues between the piercing are still getting smaller.

Sometimes a piercing will shrink for several reasons, weight loss, is a good example and can stop if it was not being irritated daily.

If you have too thin a barbell or ring then it acts like a cutting tool and will eventually tear from the skin and leave a scar.

We hope that you are not cleaning or turning the jewellery as that is probably the cause for the migration.

We believe that its better to remove the jewellery before it completely migrates so that there is not much of a scar.  We generally recommend waiting about 6 weeks then getting it re-pierced.

how much will it cost to be re-pierced? can you still use the same ring in the new piercing?

At our shop, you can re-use the ring as long as there is no damage to the metal.  You will have to check at your piercing shop as to their policy if you can use old jewellery.

At our shop, we sterilize all the jewellery used in fresh piercings.  Again, check with your piercer about their policies.

The cost will also depend on where you got it done.  Speak to your piercer.
