In October of last year I had my right eyebrow done. After some bruising, and a small infection, it's all healed up and I'm absolutely in love with it. I'm finally tired of the ring though and am looking to make the switch to the barbell I've planned on getting for some time now.
What I'd like to do is to take the captive bead ring that's in there now (I don't remember if its a 14g? 16?) and move it to a pair of holes yet to be placed in my left ear, leaving the black bead in it facing forwards.
Essentially, I'd be adding an orbital piercing on the left with jewlery I already own (currently in the eyebrow) and getting new jewlery for my brow.
1) Can this be done?
2) I want beads slightly larger then the standard one used in the brow piercing for the new barbell, do they exist?
3) What would I be looking at for a price for all of this?
4) Am I able to ask for a specific piercer?
If you could answer these, that would be awesome!
Glad you love your piercing and that its doing well.
We pierce with 14g. Yes, we can sterilze your ring and use it in another piercing. We have 2 sizes of beads, 4mm which is what you have in your current ring and 6mm which could be used depending on the size of the ring.
If you are a female, then a 5 16" ring was used and this may be too small for an orbital, depending on the distance you wanted between the two holes. Its best to come in and see the piercers, you can, of course, request the piercer you wish to do the piercing.
If you do not have any hole at all where you want the piercing to go, then it would have to be done as 2 single piercings and the one ring would then be put into the two holes at about 6 weeks. This price would depend on what jewellery you brought in to be sterilzed.
Hope we have answered your questions, if you can, please call the shop and speak to a piercer for more detailed answers.
