Eyebrow bruising

Hey,

I was in Wednesday morning and got my eyebrow done (Kudos to Jen! Looks awesome) and I've been doing my cleaning. I have been using Softsoap (Jen's reccomendation) and Polysporin but did my last cleaning with the Polysporin tonight (Monday). Cleanings have been appx every 12hrs.

Everything was fine, and I wasn't having any issues, but yesterday I discovered small bruising (smaller then a dime) below the eyebrow... kinda at the top of the eye lid. Today when I woke up it was worse.

Is this bruising expected and was that delay (nothing showing until Saturday) usual, or am I just paranoid?

This one is a little lighter, but not quite as high-quality. [[url=http: img.photobucket.com albums v154 jigabug PA130064m.jpg]Picture 1[ url]]
The second one is slightly darker, but it's closer and better quality. [[url=http: img.photobucket.com albums v154 jigabug PA130070m.jpg]Picture 2[ url]]

It is very possible that you had delayed bruising.  You could have slept on it and that put enough pressure resulting in bruising the tissues.

If you are concerned, please come to the shop and let one of the piercers look at it.

Thanks for the compliments and will tell Jen how pleased you are with her work.

Thanks for the reply.

I think I'm going to give it a couple of days and see if there's any sign of reduction, if not I'll pop by and get an opinion from one of the pros.

And another follow-up.

Things were fine.... but earlier today the bottom hole began bleeding a bit and now has blood crusties which I'm about to go clean off.

Is re-bleeding after all of the cleaning (5 days polysporin+soap, then the just soap days) normal?

Our advice is to get to the shop and let a piercer take a look at it.  You might have bumped it during the night or caught it somehow.

Its best to let the piercer look at it and determine if there has been any damage and what can be done if anything is required.
