Is dove soap ok to use on the cartilage? I want a second piercing, so just wondering if it would be ok to wash it with dove soap.

With regards to soap, we generally suggest a mild clear liquid soap. Bars of soap have more solids and these solids can get trapped inside a piercing and this would not be a good thing for any piercing.
As long as the soap is a liquid then you should be alright. Just make sure you rinse out the soap.
