Hey, i just got a nipple piercing and was wondering. Can i use normal shower gel to wash the piercing?
How long and how often should i clean it etc?
Also, how long should i leave it until i can remove the barbell and put others in? Will it close up if i do that, or will it be hard to get something back in there?
What i am doing at the moment is just showering as usual and using an antiseptic spray on it about twice a day.
It keeps on bleeding. Just little bits either side, very dark red black colour, how can i stop this?
Also, it is now starting to peel either side and it looks as if the bleeding has stopped, also it is scabbing on either side, is that normal?

Yes, you can use a shower gel as long as its one that is see-through. For our aftercare, please check our aftercare section of this forum.
Please stop using the Bactine or whatever antiseptic spray you have been using. It does NOT clean but irritate and this is the reason why your skin is peeling; why you have bleeding and the skin is dark colour.
Do warm water compress for 10 minutes morning evening and use a Q-tip to remove the crusties as you have a barbell. Otherwise, leave them alone.
