Well i have had my nose pierced for like 5 months now if not more and the bump came back bigger than ever. I have been leaving it alone and everything. It is the same size as the ball on the jewlery. Its so embarassing.
My husband even says .. " maybe you should take it out, it looks so bad". I just want it to be gone. It went away for like 2 or 3 weeks once but then it came back.
DO i just keep putting compresses on it or what?
If the bump went away and was gone for a couple of weeks, then something you are doing that is still irritating the piercing.
Since its even bigger, what are you doing? You have to be doing something, even the slightest pressure could be the cause.
If you remove the jewellery, there is no guarantee that the bump will go away.
I think that me changing it with a clear one because i had photo thing and they made me take it out because it was for the government.
Then i put the old one back in and i got the bump again. Will it do that every time i change my jewlery?
I really want it gone. Its embarassing.
Changing the jewellery may irritate the piercing, but there may be something else you are doing to it that irritates and therefore the bump returns.
If you have popped it, then the bump has a tendency of returning even larger and being more difficult to get rid of. So please do not pop it.
If you put any product on it other than your face cleanser, then this will also irritate it. Even touching it may be just enough to irritate it as well.
Give us some more information and we will do our best to help you resolve this issue.
I have not poped it but i do use proactive .. I dont use it on that side of my nose tho i try to stay away from that area.. My dog wakes me up in the morning my licking my face. I think maybe that is what it is :(
can sleeping on it cause problems??????????????????????????????????
There have been several members of this forum who have said that they use proactive and are having problems with your nostril piercings. We will have to look into this further.
Sleeping on it can cause problems. Your dog licking your face can cause problems. What we are trying to do is to reduce any irritation so that the body will reabsorb the fluid inside the bump. Do your best.
