I got my tragus pierced July 6th which is almost 2 months ago. My tragus was fine but recently it developed a reddish bump on the front of it. I put sea salt in a spray bottle with hot water and spray it on 3 times a day along with "simple care" that is a spray I recieved when I got my piercing. I was also given "simple clense" which is a soap made from hemp seed and aloe and I put it on and wash around my piercing every time I'm in the shower. I don't know what this bump is and I really want it to go away. Any tips?

STOP!

These products are all marketed to the unsuspecting, and are really nothing more than a ploy to sell you more. You are abusing your piercing several times a day. Nothing you do or use will make it heal; that is a losing scenario. You have to understand that you have to LET it heal.

Moisturize it with a little hand cream (once only!), and leave it alone for a week. Lets see what happens. Any change will be slow, but the bump should start to reduce. Have someone put the sea salt and the other products out of your reach to help you resist the temptation to interfere with the healing.

Keep me posted.

I've stopped using the products and it's gone down a little, but it's still there. Do you have any idea how long it will take to go away?

As I said, it will take a while. You have already seen the improvement. Give it time.
