Ok well I got my nose pierced about a month ago and just recently I've noticed a bump beside the hole of the piercing..Tonight it was even bleeding..I've been cleaning it twice a day with bactine and now I'm reading that I shouldn't be cleaning it at all and just to leave it alone? I just want this bump to be gone because I graduate on june 10th and a bump wouldn't look so hot.

I just got an email from my piercer and she told me to pop the bump and let it drain..is this a good idea? or should I just leave it be..
DO NOT POP THAT BUMP!!!!! Popping that bump will create more problems and discomfort. It will also cause the bump to take longer to disappear.
Bactine dries out your tissues, which is causing the bleeding. We suggest that you stop using the Bactine and leave the piercing alone.
