i have both nipples done almost a year ago and they still crust and sometimes itch. the crust is a white color on both but mostly the left (the bigger boob).
im not really cleaning them anymore but sometimes i do. is it supposed to take this long to heal? i think my body just heals slow. i had my tragus (both) done 2 months ago its still very dry (one with needle one with gun and i have rings in both).
i also had my belly done 4 days ago it seems ok so far any help would be great.
How often do you have the crusties? Does it coincide with your period? If so, then the problem is just lactation. This is a natural affect for some people. When the nipple is pierced, you are actually opening the milk ducts and this allows for a better flow. Please try and not clean them, but in the shower let warm water run over the area. Afterwards, take a Q-tip and remove them.
If your tragus piercings are dry, what are you using on them? Aftercare is only to last about 3 weeks, and if you are still cleaning them, you are overcleaning and irritating them. Please STOP doing anything to your tragus piercings.
The navel piercing still requires some cleaning, please look at our aftercare section under soft tissue and follow it. This will help reduce the risk of irritation for this piercing.
ok i have not been cleaning them and they already crust less.... .the same with my tragus and they are not as dry and hardly itch. my navel is ok but its getting pink around the top and bottom hole its been almost a week.
i want to get my nose done in about 3 weeks and wanted to know what kind of jewelery i should use so that it heals nicely because i have heard a lot of issues with the nose.
Glad that the piercings are looking better already. The same will happen with the navel. Just do not clean it anymore and let the body heal itself.
With regards to the nose, we use nostril screws as they seem to allow for swelling and they do not fall out easily.
There is no aftercare for the nose when done with a nostril screw.

hi my nipples are doing much better they crust a little but not much. my navel is fine. i took out my right tragus (it had a bubble that would not go away). i still have the left. i got my industrial done about 2 weeks ago its fine!
i just wanted to know since i had my nipples for more than a year how long will it take if i want one of them to close?
If your nipple piercing is over a year old and not giving you any problems, then the hole should not close but it will shrink up very quickly.
If the piercing was giving you some problem and you remove the jewellery, then there is a good chance that it will close as the body will repair it as if it was injured.
