Hi there,
I got my eyebrow pierced 6-7 weeks ago, and have since then been cleaning it once a day with anti-septic soap, and ocasionally applying saline solution to it.
It seems to be in perfect condition, no apparent migration or anything, but it seems to be rather dry at the edges, which is what leads me to clean it thoroughly on a daily basis.
Should I keep the same routine that I've been having until now, or is it just time to not mess around with it at all?

You are overcleaning and if you continue, the dryness at the edges will start to show signs of migration. You no longer need to clean or move the jewellery.
Saline solution is not necessary. So STOP using all products and leave your piercing alone.
You may notice in the next few days afterwards, that your piercing may show signs of weeping and crusties. If so, this is just your body's response to what you were doing on a daily basis. Put a warm compress on the piercing and soften the crusties. Take a Q-tip and remove them (without moving the ring if possible). Then take another Q-tip and a moisturizer (we use St Ives) and rub into tissues (NOT piercing) until absorbed.
Thanks for the prompt advice! I did get a little carried away with the cleaning, but I thought "better safe than sorry".. Guess that doesn't apply in this situation.
So the fact that my skin seems to be drying out on the edges means that the jewellery is migrating? I have stopped my cleaning routine entirely now, will that stop the migrating process from continuing?
Sorry about my overall ignorance in this area, thanks again for the help!
Since the piercing was done over 6 weeks ago, your overcleaning may have caused dryness but we cannot say for certain if the migration process has begun.
For the dryness follow our previous advice. This should help the tissues become healthy. If the migration has not started, it probably will not.
Be aware of the amount of skin in the piercing and be honest with yourself if you do notice the tissues 'shrinking'.
