a little bleeding

Well i've had my eyebrow pierced for about 2-3 weeks now.  I haven't been cleaning it much lately maybe once in the past couple days and this morning.

I try my best not to touch it but I have more then likely bumped it in my sleep and with my glasses.  A couple times it got bumped pretty hard when messing around with friends. It's a 16g ring.

This morning I woke up and it was very slightly swollen and the bottom had a bit of dried blood on it, so I cleaned it and the bottom hole was still bleeding so I left it alone.

Is it sign of infection or is it normal? What should I do?
I've been reading these forums a lot and you guys seem to be of good help so I figured i'd ask here.

Thanks.

Bleeding is a sign that you have injured the piercing.  You have been reducing your cleaning and at this point, you no longer need to clean.

You can use a warm cloth to moisten the dried blood and remove it with a Q-tip so as to do no more damage to the area.  If you do not let the body clot, each time you remove the blood you will get more.

This is not an infection and you are doing your best to leave it alone.

Thanks for the compliement and keep in touch with your progress.
