Blackstar is still a public site. Visitors have always been able to view our Forum. To control abuse we have always required a new user to verify their email address and to log in to post new information.

We are now changing the main site into a Community format. Users will be able to post comments, and participate in the Aftercare Forum, but it is first necessary to make sure that the users are legitimate. It costs you nothing to become an Authenticated User.

We have also set up the Blackstar Club area. We provide Club Members with their own blog and gallery pages, where you will be able to tell others a little about yourself, your piercings, and even include photos. Club members also receive a 15% discount on all piercing services and jewelry at our Kingston shop.

As an Authenticated User you are able to post comments and questions to the site, and to participate in our aftercare Forum, as well as use our keyword search to find what you are looking for more easily. You will also be able to see our full Galleries (at least the PG ones).

Select Create new account in the User login panel. You will be taken to a screen which requests your user name and email address. The Username will be your screen name when you post items to the site. You will be using your email address to log in.

After you have entered this information, click on the Create new account button, and an email will be sent to the address you entered.

When you receive this email, click on the sprecial link it contains and you will be brought back to the site and logged in. This is your only opportunity to enter without a password, so complete your profile information and enter your password.

You are now an Authenticated user.

This is a members only part of our site. The galleries we publish here are not for children to view. Members can post to their own blogs, and post their own galleries of photos. Club members also receive a discount on purchases from Blackstar, either through the Studio in Kingston, or on line,

Membership is $9.95 per month, or $115 per year, and we use Paypal exclusively. Memberships are recurring.
